Why were you interested in directing Charley's Aunt?
The first time a saw the play in the 80s I was taken with its charm and the fact that I didn't stop laughing.
Tell us about the cast and artistic team.
I am lucky to have the perfect design team and a cast perfect for their roles. Linda Buchanan and Joe Cerqua are long time collaborators with me and have worked nationally in regional theatres. And the wonderful Kenton Yeager a colleague and brilliant lighting designer will be making magic.
Christy Fogarty, our Props Master here at the CBT, as usual will bring her Amazing talents to the stage and, always thrilled to be with graduate students, from what I've seen in the costume shop our audiences will be wowed by Liz Aaron our terrific graduate student. The actors are comprised of a regional aea member, faculty members, graduate students and an undergraduate student. Truly a Theatre Department Production, they will Show the best of what UT can do.
What will the set and costumes look like?
